The Programme was fully funded by Ards and North Down Borough Council and saw 16 incredibly talented artists and crafters get involved in 6 weeks of workshops covering topics such as branding, marketing planning, digital strategy and showcasing your product. It was an intense and info-packed 6-weeks and we loved every minute of it! When planning these kind of programmes it is important to remember who the audience is. We made sure that the content was relevant to artists and crafters, we worked hard to ensure that it was engaging and importantly offered real value. We used a private Facebook Group to share presentation material, exchange ideas and as an opportunity for peer to peer support to happen - and guess what - it did! We have seen the artists working collaboratively to grow and support their business - true testimony to the power of not only networking, but peer mentoring. One of the participants shared her experience of the Programme with us: "The I Made It Programme was very well crafted to the needs of creative businesses. Previous workshops I've attended have sometimes left me intimidated and overwhelmed at the task of growing my business. These sessions, however, felt relevant and there were many ideas I thought I could apply to my business straight away. The meetings were relaxed and a lot of fun! I met some great new local artists and craftspeople who I am still in touch with. I found the guest speakers and follow up mentoring sessions especially helpful. I came away feeling positive about the future," Adele Pound, Artist Rosemary and I met at a local networking event; it wasn't a great event but there was good that came from it - a shared interest in the value of real business networking. That is how we came to establish Fascinating Company as a "place" where businesses can come together, meet, share and grow. If you're ready to make it, why not get in touch to learn how we can help your business! Comments are closed.
