By its very nature social media is fluid, and it is so important that as a strategic marketer I keep my skills and knowledge up-to-date. Following on from the 2-day Digital DNA Belfast event in June this year, I re-engaged with Twitter and all that it has to offer businesses as a marketing tool.
I scheduled some time in my diary for personal development and successfully completed the Twitter Flight School - Ieven awarded a badge and a certificate for my efforts! We are all "busy" but I can highly recommend dedicating time to refresh skills and update knowledge. Twitter is, and has been, a great social media channel to connect with your audience, promote your brand and grow your business. It has had a resurgence of late with the addition on "moments", doubling of characters (now 280 per tweet) and an emphasis on integrating video in your content.
